Spend some time making your own traditional Cornish scones — without leaving your holiday home. I’ll bring everything we need to your holiday accommodation and guide you through making proper Cornish scones from scratch and some fun varieties, too!

You’ll make traditional sweet scones and more, learning how to get that lovely light texture and rise, as well as picking up a few of my favourite baking tips along the way.

While the scones are baking, you'll learn how to make a batch of fresh strawberry jam yourself, with plenty of time for a cuppa, a chat and a few Cornish stories too. I’m Cornish born and bred, and my scone-making experience is relaxed, hands-on and suitable for complete beginners.

There’s no need for a fancy kitchen or any special equipment — I bring the ingredients and equipment to you. It’s a lovely way for families, couples and groups of friends to spend time together and experience a little bit of real Cornwall — and it’s perfect whatever the Cornish weather decides to do!

Once everything is ready, you’ll sit down and enjoy a proper Cornish cream tea, with your freshly baked scones, homemade strawberry jam and Cornish clotted cream.

You’ll finish with your recipe cards, plenty of baking tips and the skills to make everything again when you get home.
